Whether you are multinational companies, small businesses or organisations, the London Living Wage is a wage rate based on the cost of living and is voluntary for employers.

Our employment engagement team have developed an Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Policy and Procedures for employers, and can assist you with the levy transfer applications. An example of the business application process is illustrated on the roadmap.

What is London Living Wage?

The London Living Wage is voluntary for employers. An accredited London Living Wage employer will have six months to apply the new increased wage rate across job roles for directly employed young people and adult employees of 18 years old or above as well as third party contractors.
